Taking advantage of a multidisciplinary platform to expand horizons and boost research ability

What attracts me most to the WINGS-PES program is the unit of multidisciplinarity. As GSFS is an institution that covers diverse disciplines, WINGS-PES certainly makes good use of this characteristic and cultivates a platform where participants from different fields can communicate with each other, learn about the most cutting-edge discoveries, and expand their horizons. In the regular event “Salon of Excellence” which is always held by students ourselves, we discuss and debate around a specific topic, which not only helps us to have a more comprehensive view of the issue but also to practice our expression skills.
In addition, WINGS-PES also offers many extended, general education courses to improve the students’ well-rounded ability. I really appreciate the courses about critical thinking and presentation taught by Prof. Consalvi. In his classes, I realize the significance of critical thinking and outward expression. So it is clear that the goal of WINGS-PES is not only to boost students’ unilateral research but also to focus on comprehensive development. Now I am really looking forward to my future growth with WINGS and GSFS.
