Given that research exchange among WINGS-PES and Spring GX students is becoming inactive due to the predominance of online formats, the 24th Salon of Excellence was organized as a face- to-face poster session titled “Interdisciplinary Research Exchange” and provided an academic exchange of researches and opinions. First, students had time to freely look at the posters and post their comments on sticky notes, and then they were divided into two groups for poster presentations so that they could have more opportunities to experience different fields. Finally, an award was given to the poster deemed most popular at the end of the session. The 24th Salon of Excellence highlights included: 1) The focus was on research exchange among participants working in a wide range of academic fields. 2) We held the event in a face-to-face format for the first time in about three years, 3) The Salon consisted of two parts: a time to freely read and comment on posters, and a time to listen to presentations, discuss, and interact with each other. This paper looks back on this Salon based on the results of a questionnaire.
